Britney on the Iraq war:
It was bad. I felt sad. Wait, did I already use that one? Anyway, it’s a song I’m working on. It’s called ‘It Was Bad’ and then in parentheses ‘I Felt Sad.’

Peggy Buth - O, My Kalulu
Ayman Azraq - The Passport
Anders Smebye - (You only kill me, but I will return and I will be millions)
Saman Kamyab & Jon Eirik Kopperud - «They» are ahead of us

Some stories are so strange that we are drawn to them, and would like to make them our own, seeing that despite their strangeness they can easily be used as a mirror. This exhibition is a weird kind of exoticism; whether fame, displacement, the shame and curiosity of history and the present or marginal improvised poetry. The stories have all become raw material, and the artists are both empathic narrators and appropriators of other people’s reality. We read books because we’re lonely. Britney let bad people into her life because she was lonely.

A deed can’t be undone, people can come undone, but in the word undo there is still the possibility of taking action.
